What To Do If Your Dog Gets Stung By a Bee

Provided your bulldog is not allergic to bee stings,
there are some things you can do. It's pretty much
the way you would treat a child with a sting.

You can give her Benadryl Dye Free (25mg or childrens dose)
to help reduce allergic reactions.

Put a cold pack (or pack of frozen peas in a cloth) on her
lip to reduce swelling.

You can also put calamine lotion or hydrocortisone cream
on the sting to help allieveate itching.

You should also remove the stinger if it is still there by
scraping it out with your fingernail or the edge of a
credit card.

However, if she has a severe reaction to a sting with
symptoms of difficulty breathing or weakness or seems
disoriented or has severe anxiety, she could be having
a severe allergic reaction called anaphylactic shock and
would need to be taken to the vet immediately.

Depending upon the severity of this first sting incident,
you should know whether she is allergic or not depending
upon what the vet said.
